The mattress was a bit too soft for comfort, which might not suit everyone’s taste. Dishes were left unwashed, which forced us to skip breakfast on a busy morning. Thin walls allowed noise from neighboring rooms to disrupt our peace, especially during the late evening.

Family with children Perfect for a getaway
The owner was accommodating when we arrived early, and the room had a lovely view over the pastures full of grazing sheep. Having breakfast in the room was a good surprise, with fresh fruit and a good choice of cereals.
It wasn’t cheap but that’s okay.

Staying at the Coach House in Beddgelert was a lovely experience. The room felt spacious and clean, with a stunning view of the mountains. Breakfast options in the fridge surprised me. fresh fruit salad and a great selection of cereals made for an enjoyable start to the day. Having a kettle in the room was super convenient for late evening tea. Unfortunately, the shower door was quite tight to squeeze through, making it a bit awkward. There’s limited parking nearby, which could be tricky if you arrive later in the day. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall feel of the accommodation was cozy and welcoming, right in the heart of the village.

The shower in the double room struggled to maintain steady pressure, making for an unsatisfying experience. Unfortunately, noise from neighboring rooms interrupted what could have been a restful night. the smoked guinea fowl at breakfast was a delightful highlight, and the clean linens added a touch of freshness to the stay.

Staying here with my four kids was fantastic! The kids loved the DIY breakfast in the fridge, including fresh fruit salad and cereals. Plus, the stunning views of the mountains while we planned our hikes made for great family memories.
In my wife’s opinion, a bit more kid-friendly dining options would be great.
